My husband and I work full time and strange hours that never align to spend much time together, our son, Conor, is in full time care, each day when we pick him up, we come home and get into the routine of cooking dinner and settling down ready for bed. Today we made an effort to break the routine and do something fun together as a family, we decided to take Conor to the newly tarred bike track near crown park, and he told us that he didn’t need training wheels, we were a bit sceptical but we took them off anyway. We couldn’t believe it! He knows how to ride a bike! Neither of us taught him and when we tried last year he was scared of going too fast, now he’s away with no training wheels! Amazing! Also, we told him we were having mac n cheese for dinner and he asked for cauliflower, he is full of surprises today. I just had to share this with you and the team, thank you all for everything that you do for our children and the great things you organise and teach them when we can’t.
