I am the centre supervisor of our Horowhenua centre. I spend my days both in the office and in our Tuakana and Teina rooms with our tamariki. - What do you like about your work the most?
I love the amazing things tamariki teach me about every day and the strong relationships I have gained with tamariki and whānau. - What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy family bike rides and spending time with my 2 girls. - What is your favourite meal?
Thai style chicken and cashew with a side of roti from our local Thai shop is delicious. - What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
Since having two daughters and watching multiple youtube videos, I have become pretty good at Elsa plaits. - Who is your hero?
I don’t really have one particular hero but I have many people in my life I admire and look up to, respect their opinions and judgments and find truly inspirational. - What have you learned from parents/children at Learning Links?
To be more curious about the world around me and appreciate the smaller things in life. - What have you learned from your team?
E hara tāku toa I te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini. My strength is not as an individual, but as a collective.
