Spring is here, time to get our garden ready for the upcoming planting season.
Amazing to see so many hands helping out, working collaboratively. We also came across some amazing creatures, which everyone loved to observe in detail before we released them back into the garden.
“Kaiako (teachers)support mokopuna (children)to engage respectfully with, and to have aroha for, Papatūānuku (our earth mother). They encourage an understanding of kaitiakitanga (guardianship)and the responsibilities of being a kaitiaki by, for example, caring for rivers, native forest, and birds.”
