Here at Learning Links, we promote ‘Garden to Table’ where our tamariki learn how to grow and care for vegetables while developing their environmental awareness.
They then follow this process through to harvesting the ‘ready to pick’ produce (and… some not always ready!) after they gather their goods the tamariki can’t wait to take them to our chef who questions them about how they may like their produce cooked. The tamariki are never disappointed and willingly help but most importantly, taste their creative tasty dishes, made right here!
